Making a Donation to NCF

Niverville Community Fellowship Inc. depends on the generous giving of the church family to support the mission of the church. Donation receipts for income tax purposes will be issued at the end of the year for all receiptable donations (except those given through CanadaHelps as those are receipted by CanadaHelps directly).

There are four primary ways to give to the ministry of NCF:

  • Offering

Most Sunday services include an offering. Cheques will be receipted to the name and address on the cheque. Cash will be receipted if the name and address are included. Offering envelopes are available.

  • CanadaHelps

Donations can be made through CanadaHelps at www.canadahelps.org. Donation receipts are issued by CanadaHelps. Please note the current fees charged for these donations are:

    o One-time donation 4%

    o Monthly donation 3.5%

  • Secure Telpay

Giving through online banking is currently available if you use online banking with a Manitoba Credit Union. Set up is done through the Bill Payment Option the same way you would pay a utility or credit card bill. Donations can be made to the General Fund and can be set up as a one-time gift or a recurring donation on specific dates.

To make a one-time donation, follow these steps:

    1) Log into your online banking with your Credit Union

    2) Select “Payments”

    3) Select “Add payee” and search for Niverville Community Fellowship

    4) Enter your account number (your personal 10 digit phone number)

If you would like your Telpay donation to go toward the Mortgage Fund, email a note to treasurer@nivcf.ca.

  • Interac e-Transfer

Interac e-Transfer is a simple, convenient, and secure way to send and receive money directly from one bank account to another. Access online or mobile banking through a participating financial institution, and send money to Niverville Community Fellowship — without sharing any personal financial information. The bank will charge a small fee for sending an e-Transfer.

To give using Interac e-Transfer, please send the e-transfer to this email address: donations@nivcf.ca

In the note field of your transaction request, please indicate what fund (general, mortgage or designated) your donation is for. Donations without a specific note will automatically go to the general fund.

We have set up our e-Transfers to automatically be deposited into NCF’s account so there is no need to enter a security question. We hope this will simplify the process.
